Illuminate was founded in 2006, and is owned and run by Jeremy (that’s him on the left) and John (that’s him on the right). Neither are necessarily easy on the eye, but it’s what we produce that matters. And we like producing it – we’re involved full time in actual production work, we don’t just sit there cracking the whip…
For two such youthful and glamorous looking individuals we’ve each been active in print and production for a surprisingly long time – John for 24 years, and Jeremy for 20 years. In that time we’ve each set up teams and run companies within companies for suppliers, advertising agencies and clients. That’s a lot of print and production.
And we’re ably assisted in our mission by a fantastic team of brilliant people.
As such there is no place in our ranks for production managers who would be better suited to the larger, ‘pile ‘em high and sell ‘em cheap’ print management giants. (If you get our drift.)
So we don’t employ salespeople who wear bespoke suits, have beautifully manicured hands, wonderfully printed sales material and an impressive line in sincere sales talk, who then hand over to a production buying workforce of underpaid, undermotivated individuals who mistreat their suppliers. No, we’re rather more fussy than that. We’ve got thinkers, who are paid according to results, and who love their jobs.
